What inspires AristeiA to continue creating music?
What is an obsession?
If we stopped breathing the air, then would there be more for everyone else? Inside each of the four of us there is a torch, we must feed this flame because if it goes out, we will perish.
Post Rock generates creative (and often lengthy) band and track names, how does AristeiA come up with these?
Images and narratives are a necessary element to our music. We feel that our listeners aren’t the most imaginative people, so we provide a ‘title’ that clues them in to the setting of the music.
How does AristeiA decide which tracks will be on a release? testing them at gigs, or a different method?
We pour them into a bowl (after having been liquefied of course!) that is step one. Then the four of us each drink the potion from our own unique goblets. In the morning we discuss.
What have you been listening to recently that you would recommend to your fan base?
Recently I have been listening to animals. More specifically I like to bring a bird cage and a cat carrier down to the train yard. Then I hop on a freight car; hobo traveler style. When I finally manage to break into an empty train car, I let the two animals go. I love cats!

Sometimes I wonder if I can find the secret chord on my guitar that will call forth some magic. After that I would make the ground swallow up all of the U.S. Military bases on foreign soil.

The obligatory digital media question: We all know that digital downloads (legal or not) are changing the music business, would you say this is a challenge or an opportunity, and why?
It is a challenge! But that presents an opportunity for someone to invent analog downloads!
